Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zakharova: Lavrov and Blinken’s negotiating table will be decorated with lilacs and orchids

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in her Telegram channel, spoke about the decoration of the table at the talks between the heads of the US State Department, Anthony Blinken, and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“Sergey Lavrov and Anthony Blinken will hold talks in Geneva tomorrow. Everything is ready. I foresee questions about the flowers on the table – lilac and orchid,” she said.
Zakharova also published photos from the hall where the talks of the foreign ministers will take place.
Earlier it became known that Sergey Lavrov arrived for talks with Anthony Blinken in Geneva. The plane carrying the Russian minister landed in the Swiss city at 20:36 local time (22:36 Moscow time).
Earlier, the US Secretary of State revealed the topics he wants to discuss with Lavrov in Geneva. According to him, at the upcoming talks, he will urge the Russian side to work together on “restoring and improving the security architecture of Europe.” He also warned Moscow that aggression against Ukraine would negate such opportunities.
