The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, appreciated the call of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to strengthen the influence of the Ukrainian media in the Donbass. She recalled in her Telegram channel about the closure of Ukrainian TV channels by the head of state.
“The game is like that. Everything that is out of control, let it work. As soon as the little hands reached out – kaput democracy, ”said the diplomat.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called for strengthening the influence of the Ukrainian media among the residents of Donbass in order to “counter Russian propaganda.”
On February 16, Ukrainian leader Zelensky officially recognized Russia as a threat to the country in the State Security Strategy approved on February 16. In the section where the threats to state security are indicated, Russia is called a country that continues the hybrid war and systematically uses political, economic and other means “to achieve its strategic goals in Ukraine.”
