Olympic champion in figure skating Alina Zagitova will miss the Grand Prix series of the 2020/2021 season. This was reported on the website of the International Skating Union (ISU).
The reasons for this decision of the athlete are not reported. The first stage will be Skate America in the United States, with competitions scheduled for October 23-25. A month later, the Rostelecom Cup will take place in Moscow. The Grand Prix final is due to be held in Beijing from December 10 to 13, however, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the calendar may change.
