The Yandex application has long had a caller ID. Now it has a new option – the service itself will be able to block unnecessary calls from unknown numbers.
The feature is available on iOS and Android. Thanks to her, users will be able to choose: decide for themselves whether to pick up the phone, or trust Yandex. Now the application can block two types of calls – with advertising of financial services and unwanted (presumably from intruders, collectors, and so on). Blocking these two types allows you to get rid of 70% of unnecessary calls.
The new option is included for free in the Caller ID settings. Or you can ask Alice to do this – to say “Alice, turn on call blocking.”
Yandex identifies the caller by its base of numbers and using a machine learning algorithm.
