Yandex asked respondents how their mood changes with the onset of autumn. 60% of respondents said that at this time of year they feel more sad and tired. Two-thirds of those surveyed said that they lack celebrations during the transition season. Yandex decided to create their own holiday – Forget-me-nots. From September 20 to September 26, Market, Food, Shop, KinoPoisk HD, Afisha and other services will give discounts, bonuses and new experiences to users.
The survey also showed that 34% prefer to fight with a melancholic mood by walking, and 14% – by making purchases.
Each of the services has prepared its own gifts for the holiday. For example, every day, while Forget-me-nots are running, the Market will hold new thematic sales across the country. And on September 26, only with Plus points it will be possible to buy exclusive goods on this service. Among them are Yandex.Stations Light with design by street art master Kirill Kto, a dog collar keychain from jewelry designer Inga Meladze, a soccer ball from the creative association DOPECLVBWORLD and other goods.
Yandex.Lavka, the grocery and ready-to-eat delivery service, will start issuing tasks for which they will be awarded with Plus points. For example, ordering popcorn or a bucket of ice cream to complement the atmosphere of a home movie show. On KinoPoisk HD, you can already watch the festive episode “Unprincipled”, in which the protagonist decided to open an unusual business on Patriarch's Ponds.
The Yandex.Food service will delight you with increased cashback Plus points for orders in restaurants and supermarkets. Poster, Go, Travel and Music also have their holiday surprises for users. To receive cashback points, you need an active Plus subscription. If it is not there, you can get a trial version on the Market, which will be valid for all Forget-me-nots.
Yandex will give users positive emotions not only on the Internet, but also offline. For example, in the Moscow park “Kuzminki” they will show a movie on the big screen and pour hot coffee, and in the Central Park of Culture and Leisure. Gorky will exhibit a 3D installation – a cube on which volumetric rollers will be turned. In St. Petersburg, an inflatable cloud will float along the Fontanka River.
