Yandex.Maps now has the opportunity to view the coronavirus vaccination points in Russian cities, the company told RBC.
“Residents of any city will be able to find the address, contacts and opening hours of the nearest point, as well as build a route to it,” the company explained.
In the search bar of the service, you need to drive in key phrases, for example, “vaccination” or “where to get vaccinated.” In total, Yandex.Maps indicated more than 4.5 thousand such points. The company will add to the list together with the Ministry of Health.
Mass vaccination against coronavirus began in Russia on January 18. To date, the country has registered three drugs: “Sputnik V” produced by the Institute. N.F. Gamalei, “EpiVacCorona” Center “Vector” and “KoviVak” Center. M.P. Chumakov. Vaccination takes place both in public and private medical institutions. Since January, in Moscow, mobile vaccination centers have been operating in the territories of the shopping center, My Documents offices, etc.
Earlier, RBC calculated that by April 2, the number of Russians who received at least one dose of the vaccine amounted to 6.93 million people – 4.74% of the population. The fastest pace of vaccination is in Chukotka. There, 7.27% of the population received both doses. Then there are Moscow (6.32%), the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (6.04%) and the Sakhalin Region (5.91%).
According to the operational headquarters, over the past 24 hours, 8,944 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Russia. 10,225 people recovered, 398 died. The total number of cases during the entire period of the pandemic exceeded 4.67 million people, recovered – 4.3 million. More than 104 thousand people died during this time.
