Xiaomi subsidiary Redmi has announced the K40 line of smartphones. This is reported by the edition GizmoChina with reference to the materials of the company.
Three devices are presented – Redmi K40, K40 Pro and K40 Pro +. The junior flagship came out with a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels, support for 120 hertz and HDR10 + technology. The device is based on a Snapdragon 870 processor with 5G support, has six gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal memory, a triple camera with 48, 8 and 5 megapixel lenses with support for 4K video recording. The device received a battery with a capacity of 4520 milliampere-hours.
The device Redmi K40 Pro differs from the younger model only by the presence of the flagship Snapdragon 888 chip and a 64, 8 and 5 megapixel camera with support for 4K video recording. Also, the “flagship killer” has another graphics accelerator – Adreno 660.
The senior smartphone in the series – Redmi K40 Pro + – slightly differs from the neighboring Pro model. In particular, it has a camera with 108, 8 and 5 megapixel lenses. Also, the device is available in only one version – with 12 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of internal memory.
All the flagships of the series received stereo speakers, protection against water and dust according to the IP53 standard, a fingerprint sensor built into the side button, Quick Charge 3.0+ fast charging technology and USB PD 3.0, NFC, IR sensor.
The base model starts at $ 310. The starter version of Redmi K40 Pro is priced at about $ 430. The most expensive device in the line – K40 Pro + – will cost $ 575.
