The new flagship from Xiaomi will receive a top-end processor and a compact front camera. This is reported by the Chinese edition of MyDrivers.
The general director of the subsidiary Xiaomi company Redmi Lu Weibing (Lu Weibing) said that the new flagship K40 will receive the current Snapdragon 888 chip. Weibing also noted that the smartphone will be priced at 2999 yuan, or about 35 thousand rubles. The full release of the declassified device is expected in February.
Also, journalists refer to insiders who have revealed some characteristics of the “flagship killer”, as they themselves call the new smartphone. According to them, Redmi K40 will receive the most compact front camera on the market, which will be located in the central part of the front panel. Its size will be 2.8 millimeters. On the back of the device, there will be a four-lens camera.
Sources noted that the flagship from Redmi will receive a display made using the same technology as the screen of the flagship Xiaomi Mi 11. Thus, the display is likely to receive support for a display frequency of 120 hertz.
The network also has information that the Redmi K40 will be released in several versions, one of which will receive the Snapdragon 870 processor. This chip is an improved version of the Snapdragon 865+.
