Xiaomi is considering introducing an alternative to the iPhone 12 mini. The top manager of the company Lu Weibing stated this in his blog on Weibo.
Weibing said that Xiaomi also wants to release a compact device with advanced features. He hinted that a similar device will be released under the Redmi brand, which belongs to the eponymous subsidiary of Xiaomi. However, Lu Weibing noted that in this case, the manufacturer will have to sacrifice the battery capacity and battery life of the smartphone.
The top manager of the corporation did not specify when such a smartphone may appear in the Redmi line. Weibing's original post garnered over four thousand comments.
