The Chinese company Xiaomi has officially unveiled a new batch of affordable TVs – Mi TV 5X. It includes three models with a screen diagonal of 43, 50 and 55 inches. The younger model is priced at $ 430, the middle one at $ 565, and the older one at $ 650.
New items received a frameless design. Their screens occupy respectively 95.4%, 95.9% and 96.6% of the front panel area. In all three cases, a 10-bit matrix with a coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut of 94% and a resolution of 4K 3840 x 2160 pixels is used. Declared support for high dynamic range HDR10 + and Dolby Vision.
The TVs run the Android TV 10 operating system with PatchWall's proprietary user interface, which has one of the best content recommendation systems on the market. The new products are based on an unnamed 64-bit platform with four Cortex-A55 cores and a Mali G52 MP2 GPU. Provides 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent storage. Input latency is only 6.5ms.
