Xiaomi presented the Mi 10S smartphone. This is reported by the publication GSM Arena.
The device is part of the Mi 10 lineup, the flagship of which was unveiled in February 2020. The device came out with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display and a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The screen also supports HDR10 + and a picture display rate of 90 hertz. In the upper left corner of the front panel there is a hole for a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The device is based on the Snapdragon 870 chip.
Xiaomi Mi 10S is equipped with LPDDR5 RAM – from 8 to 12 gigabytes. The device also comes with a storage capacity from 128 to 256 gigabytes in UFS3.0 format. The device came out with a 4,780 milliampere-hour battery with support for 33 watt fast wired charging. The gadget comes with Android 11 OS and MIUI 12 shell.
On the back of the Mi 10S is a quad-lens camera. The leading sensor has a resolution of 108 megapixels, the additional ones – 13, 2 and 2 megapixels. The camera can shoot video with a maximum resolution of 8K and a frequency of 30 frames per second.
Thus, the model is slightly different from the flagship Mi 10. The journalists noticed that the differences are only in the presence of the Snapdragon 865 processor and the Android 10 OS in the 2020 model.
The cost of the basic version of the Mi 10S with eight gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal memory is 3299 yuan, or about 37 thousand rubles. The top modification, which received 12 and 256 gigabytes of memory, is priced at 3799 yuan, or about 43 thousand rubles. Sales of the device will begin on March 12. It is not reported whether the device will enter the international market.
