Almost a year ago, one of the buyers of Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra criticized the smartphone in his review, which seriously hurt the manufacturer. And now, with the help of the court, Xiaomi has obtained a public apology from the user.
So, last year, a user of the JD marketplace named Zhang purchased two flagship smartphones Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, leaving two negative reviews on them later. In them, the buyer complained that the smartphone often reboots by itself, heats up during the game up to 50 ° C, discharges quickly, and also has problems with moisture resistance. In addition, the user also mentioned the low performance of the device.
Xiaomi considered this feedback to be damaging to the company's reputation and sued the user. As it turned out, the buyer's complaints were unfounded. In particular, the investigation showed that after the purchase, the user never turned on the smartphones, and one of them was not unpacked at all. Meanwhile, other users started spreading false smartphone data written by Zhang.
The court turned out to be on the side of Xiaomi – the user was asked to publicly apologize to the Chinese giant. Among other things, the buyer was fined 30,000 yuan, or about 344,737 rubles.
