Xiaomi has not received messages about blocking smartphones in Europe and the CIS countries, the press service of the corporation said on Facebook in response to user complaints.
“To date, we have not received a single appeal from users in Europe and the CIS countries regarding the blocking of Xiaomi devices,” the company said in a comment.
As previously reported by the site of mobile developers XDA Developers, users of Chinese smartphones Xiaomi in several regions of the world announced the blocking of devices.
It was clarified that users from Cuba, Iran, Syria, Sudan, North Korea and Crimea faced problems.
Later it became known that Rospotrebnadzor did not receive complaints from Crimean residents about these problems.
