Xiaomi has reported that it has not received requests to block smartphones from users in Europe and the CIS countries. The comment from the company followed reports of complaints from Crimean users about the blocking of Xiaomi devices. At the same time, Rospotrebnadzor has already announced that it has not received complaints from Crimea about the blocking of Xiaomi smartphones.

“To date, we have not received a single appeal from users in Europe and the CIS countries regarding the blocking of Xiaomi devices,” the company's press service said in a statement.

The complaints of Xiaomi mobile phone users from Crimea became known on the evening of September 10. This was reported by the XDA-Developers website with a link to posts on their forums, as well as on social networks Facebook and Reddit. According to the rules of Xiaomi, Crimea, Iran, Cuba, Syria, Sudan and the DPRK are included in the number of countries and territories where the import of its devices is prohibited without a special license. Later, Rospotrebnadzor reported that it had not received complaints from residents of Crimea about the blocking of Xiaomi smartphones.
