Recently, there has been a series of explosions of Xiaomi smartphones. The models Poco X3, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Poco C3 and Redmi 8 were affected. In some cases, the owners of the devices were even injured. In particular, the explosion of the Redmi 8 injured the user's four-year-old niece. Interestingly, at first Xiaomi agreed to repair the exploded phone only if the user paid 50 percent of its cost.
Redmi delirium blamed the incident on the owner of Redmi 8. The company's customer service employee said that the Xiaomi phone only if the victim pays 50% of its cost.
However, public outrage appears to have forced the company to change its mind. Xiaomi ended up replacing the damaged phone with a new Redmi 9 for free. How the story of the wounded girl ended is unclear.
