The novelty externally looks like ordinary glasses with thin frames. But instead of glass, there are two MicroLED displays. They display various important information. For example, you can use navigation, receive notifications from your smartphone, and automatically translate text and speech. Also Xiaomi Smart Glasses are able to receive calls and take photos.
The smart glasses are said to house a tiny chipset, speakers, microphones, a battery, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules, and about 500 other components. Finally, Smart Glasses got a storage drive for snapshot and video.
The glasses will work on Android.
Xiaomi believes that smart glasses can replace smartphones in the distant future.
