Xiaomi, represented by Vice President Chang Cheng, shared a post on the popular Chinese social network Weibo in which it revealed some details about the new CyberDog robop.
So, according to a company representative, a group of engineers was engaged in the development of CyberDog, and they did it in their free time. As a result, the developers came to the conclusion that they are ready to devote more time and resources to this project, planning to enter the market.
It is noted that at the moment there is no complete list of development functionality, but several proprietary technologies of the company have been introduced into it at once, from facial recognition to a voice assistant.
Xiaomi noted that initially CyberDog was planned as an open source project, and at a cost of $ 1,500, it is sold almost at a loss to the company or on the verge of cost.
