EFootball 2022 is Metacritic's Worst Game of 2021

The worst game of the year according to the aggregator turned out to be the football simulator eFootball 2022. The authors noted that the 20-year-old Konami football franchise, which was once considered the best in its genre, has been completely redesigned this year and is now free. “Critics and gamers alike commented on ludicrous, squalid graphics, incoherent and lethargic gameplay, and a dire lack of content,” the conclusion says.
Balan Wonderworld for Nintendo Switch came in second, followed by Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood, released on PlayStation 4. Taxi Chaos, Of Bird and Cage were also in the top 5. The sixth position was taken by the collection of remasters of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, which the authors criticized for the low level of graphics and a huge number of bugs.

In December 2020, Tiny Racer for Nintendo Switch topped the Metacritic Worst Games list with 29 points. The second position with a rating of 32 points was the game for the Xbox One XIII Remake, the third – the horror Dawn of Fear.
