The American was pushed by a 61-year-old homeless man. He didn't know his victim.
In the New York subway on Saturday, January 15, at the Times Square station, a 40-year-old woman was pushed under a train. The victim died at the scene from her injuries.

It is noted that the incident occurred around 9:40 am local time. The victim was Asian-American Michelle Alyssa Goh. “This incident was not provoked, and the victim does not appear to have made contact with the subject,” law enforcement officials said.
The suspect initially fled the scene, but soon surrendered to traffic police. We are talking about 61-year-old homeless Simon Martial. The man has already been charged with second-degree murder.
The suspect is known to have a criminal record and is on parole. “He had three emotionally disturbed encounters with us in the past, which we have documented,” the police said.
One of the women who was at the scene at the time of the incident told law enforcement that Martial approached her a few minutes before he pushed Guo.
