The victim could not be saved in the hospital.
In southern India, 70-year-old Chataraboina Narsava died after being attacked by a flock of wild monkeys.
It is reported by the Daily Mail.
At the time of the attack on a pensioner who lived with her daughter in the village of Ramareddy, she was alone. Her daughter left for the wedding, but subsequently returned and rushed her mother to the hospital, where she died from her injuries.
Authorities denied that the woman was beaten by animals and said she slipped and fell, hitting her head on the floor.
“We learned from local residents that when the monkeys attacked her, she tried to escape. At the same time, she slipped and fell. She received a head injury and died,” the police inspector said.
Chataroboina's family cremated her shortly after her death, and the police are still investigating.
