Former world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko admitted that he was thinking about a possible return to the ring. The boxing legend spoke about this in an interview with News in 24.
– I have no thought of returning to the sport to break my jaw. Perhaps to break the record. George Foreman was 45 years and 10 months old when he last fought. I do not want to start again at the age of 45 and 11 months. There should be a small gap because I'm only 45, & # 8212; said Klitschko Jr.
– Anything is possible in the next five years. But this is not a sports comeback, after all, I saw everything there. But I do not exclude a one-time spectacle. At least every morning I lie to myself that I will be competing again (laughs) – that motivates me, & # 8212; he added.
Wladimir Klitschko ended his boxing career in 2017 after losing to Briton Anthony Joshua by knockout. At the end of 2020, Klitschko Jr. was included in the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
