Temperatures of 20 degrees and sunshine have already put us in the spring mood. Now, however, winter has returned.
Fresh snow has fallen in western Austria. While most Austrians were already looking forward to spring, ski star Marcel Hirscher was enthusiastic about the comeback of the winter.
The eight-time overall World Cup winner promptly grabbed his carving skis and raced through the freshly fallen deep snow in his home town in Salzburg.
The 32-year-old posted a photo of the excursion into the winter landscape on Instagram. “It's not over yet. Winter has hit back,” commented the former red-white-red ski star on the snapshot.
Since his resignation in the summer of 2019, Hirscher has repeatedly shown himself on skis in social networks. From touring to powdering in the white splendor, the Salzburg man posted snapshots of the Salzburg winter landscape. Only interrupted by trips on the motocross bike. Hirscher will be able to get this out of the garage again in the next few weeks.
