Windows users have complained about problems with the operating system. This is reported by the Windows Latest edition.
The owners of licensed copies of the OS told on the Microsoft forum and in social networks that the problems began after installing the KB5000802 update. According to reports, after using office equipment, a Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) may appear on the computer. This results in a system reboot and possible data loss. Reporters noted that reports of crashes have appeared like an avalanche on many sites over the past few days.
When a “blue screen of death” occurs, the APC_INDEX_MISMATCH error for win32kfull.sys often appears on the device display. Users reported that the crash occurs during the start of printing through printers and MFPs from Kyocera, Ricoh, Zebra and other companies. “There have already been at least 20 confirmed cases from four different clients, and this is just one hour,” – told the publication in one of the firms whose employees use office equipment and computers on Windows.
The authors noted that many users did not know about the release of the KB5000802 update, since the update is installed automatically. According to them, the only way to fix the problem is to uninstall the update through OS settings. Microsoft has not yet responded to user messages.
Previously, Windows computer owners had similar problems after installing the KB4579311 update. Users have complained about the “blue screen of death” that appears when printing documents. Also, this update interfered with the operation of monitors, sound cards and other PC components.
