Microsoft's February OS update had a negative impact on Windows. This is reported by the Windows Latest edition.
The journalists drew attention to the complaints that appeared on the official Microsoft forum, on Reddit and other social networks. In publications, owners of licensed copies of Windows told that they encountered problems after installing the latest update KB4601319. In particular, some users reported that the system backup function broke. This increases the risk of losing personal data during a crash.
Some users noticed that the backup options appear with a delay when called, and the process of saving data often ends with an error. If in this case you select the “Create a backup now” option, then Windows will display a message that the backup function is not working.
“I tried to change the backup directory, replace the external drive, delete the configuration files, but the problem still persists,” the authors of the publication quote the words of a Windows user. The specialists noticed that the only solution to the problem is to remove the KB4601319 update.
A small number of users added that, in addition to problems with backups, their webcams were broken on their devices. Microsoft has not yet responded to customer complaints.
Earlier it became known that Microsoft intends to force the installation of the latest update on computers running Windows. “We are increasing the number of devices that are nearing completion of servicing for automatic updates to Windows 10 version 20H2,” the corporation said in a statement.
