The Windows 11 operating system will be released on October 5, 2021. This was reported by the press service of the OS creator, the American company Microsoft.
The company clarified that on this day, the rollout of the free update for all users will begin. Also, the new generation OS will be loaded on new computers available in retail.
“Windows 11 is a new Windows experience designed to bring you closer to what you love,” the company said.
Microsoft clarified that the first update will be able to download the owners of those computers that meet the requirements of the new OS. It is assumed that the full renewal cycle will be completed before the fall of next year.
As the website kp.ru wrote, in June 2021 Microsoft introduced the new operating system Windows 11. First of all, the changes affected the design: in Windows 11, the Start button and icons of open programs will be located in the center of the taskbar at the bottom of the display, and the Windows icon will be four equal-sized squares. Application icons in the new Windows have been rounded, making them similar to those in macOS from Apple.
