A post with the release date appeared on the official Microsoft blog.
The update for Windows 10 devices will be phased in, ending in the middle of next year. In the future, Microsoft may optimize Windows 11, and then it will work on weak PCs / laptops (not yet meeting the system requirements).
As a reminder, Windows 10 came out in 2015. Thus, a completely new OS from Microsoft comes out 6 years after the debut of the previous one. This is the biggest break between the releases of different versions of the corporation's OS – the “ten” was so successful.
It is reported that support for Windows 10 will continue until October 24, 2025.
