Parallels Desktop 17 will allow Mac owners to try out the new Microsoft Windows 11 operating system. The new version of the software runs on models with both Intel and M1 processors.
Parallels Desktop is a virtualization solution for macOS that allows users to run Windows, Linux and other operating systems. The new version of Parallels Desktop 17 even provides a preview of Windows 11 – if you can't wait for the official build.
The developers also said that the new version of the program will allow computers on the M1 processor to improve DirectX 11 performance by 28%. Plus, 33% faster boot times for Windows 10 ARM-based (Insider Preview). And these are not all improvements.
The program is also now compatible with the latest macOS Monterey operating system.
