The strategic goal of the new exercises of Belarus and the Russian Federation may be in the demonstration of force, and in the development of specific operations, the United States believes.
The United States has not yet seen signs indicating the probable preparation of the Belarusian army for a direct entry into the war against Ukraine.
White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby spoke about this at a briefing.
“I'll tell you that we still haven't seen any signs that Belarus intends, plans or organizes to enter, physically infiltrate Ukrainian territory to help Russian forces in Ukraine,” he said.
Regarding Poland's concerns, Kirby responded that the United States shares these concerns.

Recall that from Monday, January 16, joint tactical flight training of aviation units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, which are part of the regional grouping of forces, started. The next day it became known that Russian Su-34 bombers arrived in the republic for the so-called “military exercises”.
According to the border guards, there are 11 thousand of the Russian military, but this number is constantly changing due to the rotation of the RF Armed Forces.
Meanwhile, the head of the Rovno OVA, Vitaly Koval, warns that aviation training in Belarus will affect the rhythm the life of the whole of Ukraine, and that one of these training flights may become non-training.
