Patrushev believes that Moldova may cease to exist if it "does not correct its mistakes". Chisinau has already responded.
Adviser to the head of the Kremlin Nikolay Patrushev stated that Chisinau's “anti-Russian policy” will lead to Moldova becoming part of another state or ceasing to exist altogether. The Moldovan Foreign Ministry has already responded to the words of the aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This was reported by the Newsmaker publication.
In an interview, Patrushev stated that the blame for the energy crisis in Moldova lies with the country's authorities. He called on Chisinau “not to deceive itself and its people,” but “to admit its mistakes and correct the situation.”
“I do not rule out that Chisinau's aggressive anti-Russian policy will lead to Moldova either becoming part of another state or ceasing to exist altogether,” Patrushev said.
The Moldovan Foreign Ministry condemned Putrushev's statement, noting that “such statements constitute unacceptable interference in the internal affairs of our country.”
“The Republic of Moldova is a sovereign state that has consistently followed the path of democracy and European integration in accordance with the will of its citizens,” the Foreign Ministry emphasized.
Recall that the assistant to Russian dictator Putin Nikolay Patrushev also stated that negotiations on Ukraine should only take place between the Russian Federation and the United States.
Patrushev also believes that in 2025 Ukraine will allegedly “cease to exist altogether.” The National Security and Defense Council has already responded to this. Calling Putin's deputy a generator of random statements.
