The online encyclopedia Wikipedia suffered a massive crash on October 7, Downdetector reported. The resource started having problems at about 19:00 Moscow time. 98% of the users complained that the site does not work, 2% cannot log in. Crashes were reported in some cities in Russia, the USA, and several European countries. Users noted in the comments that they manage to get to the site through a VPN.
Most of the complaints about Wikipedia crashes in Russia come from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
