US President Donald Trump's decision to leave the G7 summit in Canada early was not really about the need to resolve the conflict between Israel and Iran.

The British publication Financial Times writes about this.

Citing informed sources, the publication reported that the reason for Trump's sudden return to Washington was his unwillingness to communicate with some European leaders.

As is known, the second day of the summit included a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The American president allegedly showed no interest in negotiations with the Ukrainian leader.

Donald Trump was also irritated by French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to Greenland, where he stopped en route to the G7 summit. It was the first visit by a foreign leader to the island, which the US president has repeatedly stated he wants to take over.

The day after this visit, Macron announced France's readiness to participate in joint exercises aimed at strengthening security in Greenland.

Earlier, former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko expressed the opinion that Donald Trump deliberately left the G7 summit early in order to avoid meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky

Recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping discussed the G7 summit in a telephone conversation, mentioning Zelensky's visit
