WHO: Europe's largest daily increase in COVID cases
More than 330 thousand COVID cases have been identified in the world per day, according to data from the World Health Organization.
129 thousand new cases were registered in Europe, over 43 thousand – in North and South America, 39 thousand – in Southeast Asia.
In total, 224 million cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed on the planet for the pandemic. There were 40.6 million infections in the United States, 33.2 million in India, and almost 21 million in Brazil.
We add that a total of 4.6 million people have died after being infected with COVID.
