She added that Biden decided to withdraw from the election not because he would not be able to lead the next presidential term.
In this context, she quoted a written message from the president, which he sent on Sunday: “It is in the best interests of my party, my country, that I withdraw (from the race – ed.) and focus solely on the performance of my duties president until the end of his term.”
