The 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing started on February 4 and will end with a ceremony on February 20, 2022.

The closing ceremony of the 2022 Games will take place at the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the Bird's Nest. The opening ceremony was also held there.
The Winter Olympics 2022 was focused not only in the capital of the competition – Beijing, but also in the cities of Yanqing and Zhangjiakou. In total, 15 sports were presented at the Games, in which 109 sets of awards were played.
What was the opening ceremony like?
At the opening ceremony in Beijing, as at the 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo, two athletes carried the flags of their countries. In Ukraine, this right was awarded to freestyler Alexander Abramenko and representative of figure skating Alexandra Nazarova.
During the opening ceremony of the 2022 Olympics, the audience had the opportunity to watch a bright performance with the participation of dancers, musicians and see a fascinating virtual show and fireworks.
