The Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov answers:
– The Ministry of Digital Development plans that all schools in the country will be connected to high-speed Internet by the end of the year. Urban – 100 Mbit / s, rural and township – 50 Mbit / s. Now there are 10 thousand unconnected schools left. Partly the Magadan region. But on the whole, this task should be solved in the near future, and the President focused on this.
Next, we will solve the problems of equipping the regions with computers. We create a digital learning environment to complement the traditional learning system. This includes video conferencing “Spherum” (a domestic platform, like an analogue of Zoom. – Ed.), A social network for schoolchildren, and more. New technologies just make it possible to solve problems with education, including in hard-to-reach regions. Certain supplies of computer equipment to schools will be implemented this year within the framework of a national project.
