Now, to log into your WhatsApp account, you need to receive a one-time SMS code on your phone. It looks like the messenger team will soon make it easier to log into your account.
WABetaInfo authors found evidence of a new feature called Flash Calls in the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android. This option will allow you to quickly verify your WhatsApp account and log in.
To use this method, the app will need call permissions. Currently, the user needs to answer the call, listen to a unique one-time access code, and then enter it into WhatsApp. In the future, the messenger will be able to carry out verification automatically, that is, there will be no need to answer the call.
It is not known when the new feature will become available to all users.
