It was revealed that WhatsApp will soon release an iPad version of the app. Earlier, the head of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, said that this version of the messenger may be in development. Thanks to this and the functions for using WhatsApp on different devices, the user will be able to switch in the messenger between their Apple gadgets.
With the multi-device 2.0 feature coming in an upcoming update, the Apple iPad will be considered a linked WhatsApp-enabled device. It is also reported that in the Android app, the multi-device option will also support Android tablets.
It's worth noting that WhatsApp for iPad will come in the form of a full-fledged app. It will be able to work independently of other platforms.
It is not yet clear when the innovation will become available to all users.
