Какую украинцы могут получить в Польше пенсию

In Poland, to receive a pension you need to be 60 years old for women and 65 years old for men.

Ukrainians in Poland can receive pension from the Social Security Administration, even if you worked only one day. However, we are not talking about a minimum pension – the contribution will be divided by the average life expectancy. That is, they can pay the Ukrainians a meager amount.

This is stated on the ZUS website.

As noted, in Poland it takes 60 years for women and 65 for men to receive a pension. In addition, the country needs to pay a social insurance contribution. But it doesn’t matter how long it takes to pay these fees – even if it’s just one day.

“To calculate the amount of your pension from the Social Insurance Office (ZUS), the following will be attached: valorized pension insurance contributions stored in your individual account in ZUS, valorized initial capital (established for insurance periods before 1 January 1999 ), valorized funds stored in your sub-account with the Social Insurance Office (ZUS),” the explanation reads.

At the same time, to obtain the right to a minimum pension in Poland, you must meet Polish conditions: have 20 years of work experience for women and 25 years for men, as well as reaching the retirement age of 60 years and 65 years respectively. Otherwise, the Polish old age pension will be calculated on the basis of the contributions paid by the person while working in Poland, and if these contributions are low, the assistance will also be low.

We add that the minimum pension in Poland is about 13.6 thousand hryvnia.

Recall that Poland offers to help Ukraine with electricity in winter.
