Russia built new fortifications over the summer.
In In recent months, Russian troops have been building fortifications in three regions bordering Ukraine: in the Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod regions.
Satellite images obtained from ESA Sentinel-2 data were published by defense research expert Brady Efrik.
According to satellite data, new trenches were built in the Kursk region in the summer along the border with Ukraine . Work continued from early May to August. And in the Bryansk region, from the beginning of June to mid-August, new anti-tank ditches were dug.

As for the Belgorod region, as satellite footage shows, there in recent months built new fortifications. Which ones exactly are not yet clear.

In his opinion, the construction of such fortifications may indicate that Russia is preparing to wage war on their territory.
Recall that it was previously reported that the occupiers in Crimea are strengthening their defenses – installing “dragon teeth”.
