Ukraine should not expect concrete decisions after the meeting of the heads of China and the United States of America in San Francisco. However, the United States expects China to reduce its support for the Russian economy.
Political scientist Valery Klochko announced this on the air of a single telethon.
According to him, the meeting between the leaders of China and the United States is difficult to underestimate.
“But this does not mean that they… will come out of the press conference after the meeting and tell what they agreed to… This meeting was not officially announced. This is an interim meeting, which could become preparation for the upcoming negotiations in the format of intergovernmental commissions,” the political scientist emphasized .
He also added that one should not expect the signing of any specific document or agreement, as well as agreements to end the war in Ukraine. However, the leaders of the countries will discuss issues of Ukraine, the Middle East, North Korea and Taiwan.
“The exclusively Ukrainian issue is not the subject of the meeting between Biden and Xi… This is a complex geopolitical chessboard, and Ukraine is one of its pieces… However, the United States hopes that China will reduce its assistance to Russia in supporting its economy,” added Valery Klochko.
