The enemy army uses an outdated approach that does not work in modern conditions.
Russian generals are guided by combat regulations of the 40-60s. This is not expected to produce any result.
Military expert, reserve colonel of the SBU, military counterintelligence expert Mikhail Pritula spoke about this on Espresso.
What is the principle of the Russians?
As Pritula noted, Russian generals act as prescribed in the combat manuals. They understand that in this case there are no problems with the prosecutor’s office, even despite the heavy losses. So they continue to work as they did.
At the core are tanks, tanks and more tanks. Of course, in Ukraine there are no such capabilities, but there is something different – anti-tank weapons provided by partners. Given this, the meaning of Russian tactics is simply neutralized.
“You and I understand that there is no point in this, but on the other side they act according to a completely different logic, inhumane, that is, the logic there is this: the commander makes a decision as written in the combat manual, because if he accepts it somehow -other, then the prosecutor’s office will act against him,” says the SBU reserve colonel.
The actions of the enemy army are clearly stated in the textbook, and the Russians do not neglect the rules:
The enemy doesn't care that it doesn't give any result. As the expert emphasizes, for them the process itself is the result.
“It’s a stupid war, the main thing is maneuver,” this is how Mikhail Pritula described the tactics of the Russian army.
Let us remind you that Russian troops are trying to change tactics in the Bakhmut direction due to numerous failures.
