The border of the Russian Federation with Ukraine is practically not covered by Russian troops.
What we can now observe along the border with Russia is This is not a campaign against Moscow or even an attempt to liberate Belgorod from Putin’s yoke. These processes have a fairly defined and easily known functionality of sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
This opinion was expressed by expert Alexander Kovalenko, writes “Observer”.
“In fact, taking advantage of the insufficient security of the border and the lack of the ability of Russian security forces to effectively respond to threats in the near border zone, raid activities create a semblance of gray zones. Gradually, these sanitary zones will expand, stretch along the border and will absorb surrounding villages. These include Kozinka, Zarechye-Vtoroye, Gorkovskoye, Tetkino (although it is too large for rapid absorption), the expert noted.
In addition, there are villages that, in the long term, after the absorption of SZ, will begin to turn into a bridgehead, beyond which further Russian territory will “gray” in anticipation of a change in color.
The most striking example of a similar systematic action is Krynki on the left bank of the Kherson region, which at first turned into a gray zone, and now is a full-fledged springboard for the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
“Only in the case of the territory of the Russian Federation this will be a springboard for the RDK, the “Freedom of Russia” legion and other Russians with a cool head and a warm heart. The ultimate goal may be to create a demilitarized buffer along the border with Ukraine (on the Russian side) zones up to 10 km deep, and possibly more. But it’s too early to talk about it,” he added.
March 17, Russian volunteers of the “Siberian Battalion” and the “Russian Volunteer Battalion” took control of another settlement in Belgorod region. Russian volunteers added , that a “limited special operation” on the territory of the Russian Federation continues.
March 14, in the village of Spodaryushino, Belgorod region, the military of the Russian Armed Forces hung out a white banner and surrendered to the soldiers of the Legion “Freedom of Russia” and the Russian Volunteer Corps.
LSR fighters announced new attacks on Belgorod. They also turned to Vladimir Putin. They called the presidential elections in Russia “a complete farce”, for the sake of which people are being driven to the polling stations “under bombs and artillery shells.”
