Diplomats are keeping the case of the Ukrainian, who was detained in Slovakia due to the “threat of a coup d'etat”, on special control.

“The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is aware of the detention in Slovakia on charges of threatening national security of a Ukrainian citizen,” the report says.
It is known that the Ukrainian, born in 1966, is in connection with his relatives. Consuls are providing him with the necessary support. He has a private lawyer.
“We insist on the need for the Slovak side to respect the legal rights and interests of the Ukrainian citizen. The Ukrainian Embassy in the Slovak Republic has already contacted the competent authorities of Slovakia to clarify the grounds for the detention,” the Foreign Ministry added.
They emphasized that Ukrainian diplomats are keeping the case under special control.
Recall that on January 30, a Ukrainian was detained in Slovakia due to an alleged “threat of a coup d'etat.” He faces deportation.
Slovak Ambassador to Ukraine Pavel Vizdala was summoned to the Foreign Ministry. This happened in connection with Bratislava's statements about Ukraine's alleged “interference” in Slovakia's affairs.
