Interestingly, Sungorkin was the editor-in-chief of a propaganda publication that was called “Putin's favorite newspaper” on the sidelines. In the early 2000s, the man entered the top five most influential media managers in Russia. Sungorkin was awarded the title of “Honored Journalist of Russia”.
He also covered what was happening in the Crimea, for which he received an award from the Fuhrer. The propagandist justified and supported the war that the Russian Federation unleashed against Ukraine.
