Weather in CIS: heavy snow is expected in Kyrgyzstan, ice in Belarus

The cold is receding. Warmth is coming to replace frosts in Moscow. Today, the Russian capital has a comfortable minus 10 degrees, no precipitation. MIR 24 correspondents learned about the weather in other countries of the Commonwealth.

Kyrgyzstan

A storm warning was announced in Kyrgyzstan. Heavy snowfall is expected over most of the country. Wet snow is predicted in the capital as well. While it is raining in Bishkek and plus three degrees. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic warns drivers about the danger of avalanches on mountainous road sections. Car enthusiasts are reminded that the distance between cars on the passes must be at least 500 meters.

Belarus

Frosts in Belarus have not yet receded, but it has become a little warmer. In the northeast today it is about minus 13 degrees, and this is the most pessimistic forecast for the country. Snow and ice are expected throughout the republic. Inhabitants are only happy about such winter. There is a rush on the snowy slopes, and the influx of patients in emergency rooms. Tubing injuries are in the lead. Dozens of children and adults with bruises and fractures turn to doctors every day. There are also severe cases. Therefore, fans of winter extreme are reminded: if you really want to ride a “cheesecake”, you need to choose a safe place for this and take care of protection: helmet, elbow pads and knee pads.
