Russia has already suffered a major strategic defeat.
Western politicians must stop talking about the stalemate in the context of the war in Ukraine.
The corresponding statement was made by British Foreign Secretary David Cameron, writes The Sunday Times.
He emphasized that the economy of the Western coalition is 25 times larger than the Russian one.
“We need to stop talking about the stalemate and the fact that time is not on Ukraine's side. We are more than capable of demonstrating that time is on our side, and not on the side of Russian President Vladimir Putin,” noted Cameron.
In particular, he seeks to convey this point of view to the American ex-President Donald Trump if he again becomes the head of the country following the results of the presidential elections that will be held in the United States in November of this year.
“Interaction with Trump on a personal level will have to be built differently than with the current US leader Joe Biden, however, the British and American military and intelligence officers are accustomed to and know how to work together, and the values and approaches of the two countries to many problems are also very close,” he added.
Recall that earlier the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny said that the situation at the front had reached a “dead end”. The response of the head of state was not long in coming: he sharply rejected the commander-in-chief’s thesis and stated that “this is not a stalemate.”
