Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson met with the Republican candidate for president USA by Donald Trump.
Johnson announced this on his Instagram page.
“It's great to meet President Trump, who is in great shape after the disgraceful attempt on his life. We discussed Ukraine, and I have no doubt that he will be strong and decisive in supporting this country and defending democracy,” – says the message under a common photo of the British and American politicians.
According to Sky News, Johnson arrived in the United States for the Republican National Convention. The meeting of politicians lasted about half an hour.
Recall that Trump with a bandaged ear appeared in public for the first time since the assassination attempt. The politician attended the Republican National Convention and was in a very good mood.
