Milli expressed respect for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.< /strong>
The head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley, thanked the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense for “presenting the opportunity to support based on your needs.”
This was discussed during briefing after the meeting in the Rammstein-3 format.
“Our contact persons are now in touch with Ukrainian colleagues. I am personally in active communication with Mr. Zaluzhny (Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny – ed.). We communicate several times a week, and sometimes several times a day,” Milli said.
He added that since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, international one community decided to help Ukraine defend itself.
“The impact is already being felt. Russia is not advancing and failing to achieve its initial successes due to fear of Ukrainian resistance. Ukraine is now trying to carry out an offensive in the Donbas,” he said.
Recall that on June 14, the US Department of Defense announced that they would send more multiple launch rocket systems to Ukraine.
