Advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich called calls for abuse of Russian prisoners, as well as for the destruction of the civilian population of Russia and Belarus, unacceptable. He stressed that Ukraine is a civilized state and should remain so.
Arestovich made such a statement today at a briefing, addressing the Ukrainians.
– There is no need to dehumanize the enemy. Calls for abuse of prisoners, strikes or destruction of the civilian population of the Russian Federation and its supporting countries, in particular Belarus, are unacceptable. We remain a European army, a European country. And we are not barbarians. We are a civilization fighting the barbarians. We remain civilized,” Arestovich said.
He also informed that during the day there were no significant changes in the state, position and nature of the actions of Putin’s troops.
According to Arestovich , The Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding the line, and in some places they are counterattacking the enemy, inflicting crushing blows on him with rocket troops, artillery, aircraft and ground forces.
