War in Ukraine: which settlements Russian troops fired from Gradov

The war has been going on in Ukraine for the sixth day. From the night of February 24, Russian troops illegally began to cross the state border of our state.

The enemy began his attack on airports and airfields, military depots in Kyiv, Kharkov and the Dnieper. Diversions were also recorded in other regions of Ukraine.

The purpose of the occupier is to seize power in the largest cities, primarily in the capital – Kyiv.

From the first day of the invasion of the territory of Ukraine, the Russian enemy has been using various weapons, including Grad multiple rocket launchers. The caliber of Grad shells is 122 mm. In the military conflict in the Donbass, which is in its eighth year, such heavy weapons are prohibited under the Minsk agreements.

From 4.35 on February 24, Russia began to cook in Ukraine with hailstones and mortars.

On February 24, Russian troops from Gradov fired on the village of Novoselovka Vtoraya, Donetsk region. Two houses were destroyed, eight more were damaged.

Shells hit the building of the filtering station of the Chasovoyarsky regional production department of the KP Voda Donbass Company in the village of Novoluganskoye and into the gas supply pipe.

On February 24, in Ugledar, a hospital came under fire from Grad multiple rocket launchers. The enemy attacked the microdistricts of Mariupol with hailstones.

On February 25, Russian occupation troops from Gradov fired on the village of Vorzel, Kiev region. Debris from shells hit the premises of the orphanage. Rescuers reported that there were no casualties.

On February 25, near Shchastia, the invaders “covered” buses with Grads to evacuate people. According to the head of the Lugansk military-civilian administration, Sergei Gaidai, two buses tried to drive into the city to take out the elderly, women and children. As soon as the buses arrived at Shchastya, they were immediately “covered” with Grads.

On February 26, the enemy used Grads in Chernigov. Shells flew into a residential area – apartments in a high-rise building caught fire.

On February 28, the Russian invaders attacked Kharkov from rocket artillery. According to the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko, because of the shelling, there are dozens of dead and hundreds of wounded. From the video on social networks it can be seen that residential areas of Saltovka, Alekseevka and Pavlovo Pole came under shelling.

On February 28, the enemy fired on Volnovakha from Gradov. An evacuation convoy driving behind people fell under a barrage of shells. Fortunately, there were no casualties or wounded.

On March 1, in the city of Akhtyrka, Sumy region, Russian soldiers from Gradov were beating a military unit. More than 70 people were killed – both military and civilian.

What is BM-21 Grad?

RZSO Grad (BM-21) is a Soviet and Russian multiple launch rocket system. Designed to defeat manpower, unarmored vehicles, artillery, mortars, command posts, and so on.

The Grad chassis is a Ural off-road truck. The BM-21 field rocket system became the prototype of other systems for firing unguided rockets of 122 mm caliber.

For one volley, the Grad fires 40 shells. Flight range – up to 20 km.
